Guy Williams was an American actor. He was known for starring as Zorro on the series Zorro , and Walt Disney Presents ; and for his roles in the films Seven Angry Men , I Was a Teenage Werewolf , Damon and Pythias , and Captain Sindbad (1963), and on the series The Mickey Rooney Show , Highway Patrol , Men of Annapolis , Bonanza , and Lost in Space .
He was the son of Clara Judith “Clare” and Attilio Catalano, an insurance broker. His parents were Italian emigrants, from Lercara Friddi, Palermo, Sicily. He was raised in Little Italy, The Bronx. Guy had two children, actors Guy Williams, Jr. and Toni Williams, with his former wife, model Janice Cooper.
Guy’s paternal grandfather was named Giuseppe Catalano. Giuseppe was born in Lercara Friddi, and was a wealthy timber grower.
