Haley Heynderickx is an American indie folk singer and songwriter. She is known for her debut album “I Need To Start A Garden.”

She was raised in Forest Grove, Oregon, and lives in Portland. Haley’s mother was born in Lipa, Batangas, Philippines.

Haley’s paternal grandfather was Cecil Nickolas Heynderickx (the son of Cecil William Heynderickx and Anna Mary Kemper). Haley’s grandfather Cecil was born in Hillsboro, Oregon. Haley’s great-grandfather Cecil was born in Chippewa, Wisconsin, to Belgian parents, Judocus Josse “George” Heynderickx, from Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest; and Marie Josephine Delahaut, from Saint-Jean-Geest, Brabant. Haley’s great-grandmother Anna was born in Verboort, Oregon, the daughter of William S. Kemper, who was born in Holle, Oldenburg, Germany; and of Clara Reiff, whose parents were from Prussia, Germany.

Haley’s paternal grandmother was Joan Marie Bride (the daughter of Leo Clifford Bride and Ann Julianna Hermens). Joan was born in Martinez, California. Leo was born in Spruce, Oconto, Wisconsin, the son of Owen Daniel Bride, whose parents were Irish, with at least partial roots in County Louth; and of Elsie Almira Coy. Haley’s great-grandmother Ann was born in McMinnville, Yamhill, Oregon. Her father, Cornelius William Hermens, had a father from Zeeland, North Brabant, Netherlands, and a mother from Bierbeek, Brabant, Belgium. Ann’s mother, Haley’s great-great-grandmother, Jane Margaret Joosten, was the daughter of parents from Nuenen, North Brabant, Netherlands, her father from Nuenen and her mother from Boekel.
