Hanumankind is an Indian rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. He made his musical debut in 2019 with the single “Daily Dose,” from his first EP, “Kalari.” Hanumankind gained widespread recognition both in India and abroad with his hit track “Big Dawgs.” In 2024, he made his acting debut in the Malayalam film Rifle Club . He is also known as HMK and HMKOTW.
Hanumankind was born as Sooraj Cherukat, to a Malayali family, in Kondotty, Kerala, India. His father worked for an oil company. He had lived in Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Qatar, Italy, before moving to the U.S. as a child. He returned to India in 2012 for university.
