Harry Hamlin is an American actor, author, and entrepreneur. He has starred in the films Clash of the Titans (1981) and Making Love , and on the series L.A. Law and Mayfair Witches .
He is the son of Berniece/Bernice (Robinson), a socialite, and Chauncey Jerome Hamlin, Jr., an aeronautical engineer. Harry is married to actress Lisa Rinna . He has a son with his former partner, actress and model Ursula Andress ; and two children, including socialite, model, actress, and television personality Amelia Gray Hamlin , with Lisa.
Harry was selected People Magazine’s “ Sexiest Man Alive ” in 1987.
Harry’s great-uncle was diplomat, journalist, playwright, novelist, short story writer, and lawyer David Gray, who was U.S. Minister to Ireland, from April 15, 1940 to June 28, 1947; David was the brother of Harry’s paternal grandmother, and was the maternal uncle, by marriage, of U.S. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt .
