Hayden Szeto is a Canadian actor. His roles include the films The Edge of Seventeen , where he played a high school student, Erwin Kim, at the age of 30; Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare (2018), Come as You Are , Summer Night (2019), Tigertail , Yes Day , and Sex Appeal ; and the shows The Good Place , Lodge 49 , and What We Do in the Shadows .
His father is painter Nigel Szeto. His grandfather, Kei Szeto, was a well-respected Chinese sculptor, and his great-grandfather, Szeto Mei, was a notable poet. He has ancestry in Hong Kong.
