Hayes MacArthur is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. His brother is actor and writer Scott MacArthur. Among his paternal great-great-uncles, his great-grandfather Alfred’s brothers, were playwright and screenwriter Charles MacArthur and insurance magnate, real estate investor, and philanthropist John D. MacArthur, of the MacArthur Fellowships. He was named after Charles’ wife, actress Helen Hayes . His stepfather is businessperson, financer, and philanthropist William F. Farley.
Hayes is married to actress and model Ali Larter , with whom he has two children.
