Henrik Lundqvist is a Swedish professional ice hockey player. A goaltender, he played for Frölunda HC of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), and, mostly, with the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL); he was also with the Sweden national team. He is in the Hockey Hall of Fame. He is nicknamed “King Henrik.”
Henrik is the son of Eva Johansson and Peter Lundqvist. His identical twin brother is professional ice hockey player Joel Lundqvist. He is married to Therese Andersson, with whom he has two children.
