He is a three-time winner of the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year award.
Hugo is the son of Marie, a lawyer, and Luc Lloris, who is a banker in Monte Carlo, Monaco. His younger brother, Gautier Lloris, is also a footballer. His surname is of Catalan origin. He is married to Marine, with whom he has three children.
