Huma is the daughter of Ameena and Saleem Qureshi, a restaurateur, who runs the Saleem’s chain of restaurants. Her mother is from Kashmir. Her brother is actor and model Saqib Saleem (Saqib Saleem Qureshi). Her family is Muslim. Huma was mostly raised in Kalkaji, South Delhi.
