Iman Vellani is a Canadian actress and comic book writer. She starred as Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American Muslim superhero, on the series Ms. Marvel , in the film The Marvels , and on the animated show Marvel Zombies . She has also starred in the film Animal Farm (2025).
She was born in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, and moved to Markham, Ontario, Canada, when she was one. She was raised a Shia Ismaili Muslim.
