Inna Vernikov is an American attorney and politician. A Republican, she has been a Member of the New York City Council, since December 1, 2021, and Minority Whip of the New York City Council, since January 7, 2026, and, previously, from January 5, 2022 to February 7, 2025.

She was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, then part of the Soviet Union. She attended a Ukrainian Jewish day school. Her family moved to the U.S. when she was twelve. She is an Orthodox Jew.
