Irène Jacob is a French-Swiss actress. Irène is the daughter of Lise, a psychologist, and Maurice Jacob (Maurice René Michel Jacob), a theoretical particle physicist. Her brother, Francis Jacob, is a musician, and her other two brothers are scientists. Her family moved to Geneva, Switzerland, when she was three. Irène is married to French actor Jérôme Kircher, with whom she has two children, actors Paul Kircher and Samuel Kircher .
Irène’s paternal grandfather was named Maurice Jacob. Maurice was born in Izieux, Saint Chamond, and was a scientist and professor.
