Iris Bahr is an American/Israeli actress, comedian, director, writer, author, producer dramaturg, and public speaking coach. Her roles include the films Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector , The Poughkeepsie Tapes , and The Last Exorcism , and playing Rachel Heineman on Curb Your Enthusiasm ; as well as the shows Svetlana , which she created; The Brink , Blunt Talk , and Monster High . She has also appeared in video games, in the Star Trek franchise, as well as Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix and Prey . She has hosted the X-RAE podcast.
She was born in the Bronx, to Jewish parents. After her parents divorced, she moved to Israel with her mother, when she was thirteen. She served two years in the Israel Defense Forces.
