Jacob Bertrand is an American actor. His roles include the series Homeschooled , Bubble Guppies , Marvin Marvin , Kirby Buckets , Cobra Kai , Batwheels , and Tempest ; the made-for-tv movies Jinxed (2013) and The Swap (2016); and the films Rise of the Guardians and Tom and Jerry’s Giant Adventure .
He has stated that he is of half Mexican descent.
Jacob’s patrilineal line can be traced to Julien Bertrand, who was, c. 1560, in Ancelle, Hautes-Alpes, France.
Jacob’s paternal grandfather is Gerald Bertrand (the son of Ralph Luger Bertrand and Clemence Marie Savageau). Gerald was born in Cass, North Dakota. Ralph was born in Bloomer Township, Marshall, Minnesota, the son of Joseph Arthur Bertrand and Clara Tessier. Clemence was born in Horace, North Dakota, the daughter of Octave Pit Sauvageau and Marie Veraline Tessier. His grandfather later re-married to Katherine.
Jacob’s maternal grandfather was artist FranCisco Vargas (the son of Della Chacon).
