Her father, Sohail Yousaf, is Pakistani. Her mother, Neda, is of Lithuanian and German descent. She was raised in Chicago, Illinois.
Jahan’s paternal grandfather was Jonas Vytautas Zemliauskas (the son of John/Jonas Zemliauskas/Zenliauskas and Paulina Oksva). Jonas was born in Lithuania.
