Jamie Hyneman is an American television personality and special effects artist. He is a co-host of the Discovery Channel program MythBusters , formerly with Adam Savage .
He was raised in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Betty Jo and Franklin Keese “Frank” Hyneman. Jamie is married to science teacher Eileen Walsh.
Jamie’s paternal grandfather was John Raymond Hyneman (the son of Samuel McClittic Hyneman and Ida Belle Farmer). John was born in Indiana. Samuel was born in Gibson County, Indiana, the son of Aaron Kirk Hyneman and Luzannah Hargrove. Ida was the daughter of Samuel Farmer and Louisa Cato.
