Jaromír Jágr is a Czech professional ice hockey player. A right wing, he plays for Rytíři Kladno of the Czech Extraliga. He was previously with the Pittsburgh Penguins, HC Bolzano of the ICE Hockey League (ICEHL), the Washington Capitals, the New York Rangers, Avangard Omsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), the Philadelphia Flyers, the Dallas Stars, the Boston Bruins, the New Jersey Devils, the Florida Panthers, and the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL); he was also with the Czechoslovakia national team and the Czech Republic national team. He owns Rytíři Kladno. He is 6′3″.
Jaromír was born in Kladno, the son of Anna Jágrová and Jaromír Jágr, who owned a chain of hotels, and was president of HC Kladno. He is an Orthodox Christian.
