He is the son of Katherine and Arthur Whitfield Huguley III, a commodities trader and President of Westway Trading Corporation.
Jay’s paternal grandfather was Arthur Whitfield Huguley (the son of Arthur Whitfield/Whitefield Huguley and Mary/May Estelle Wilder). Jay’s grandfather Arthur was born in Winchester, Massachusetts. Jay’s great-grandfather Arthur was the son of Harrison Whitfield Huguley and Ellen Chase Todd, who was from Maine. Jay’s great-grandmother Mary was the daughter of Charles Wheeler Wilder and Anna Adelaid Pearson.
