Jean-Jacques Goldman is a French singer, songwriter, and music record producer. He is the highest grossing living French pop-rock act, a title he has held since 2017. He was also part of musical trio Fredericks Goldman Jones.

Jean-Jacques is the son of Ruth Ambrunn and Alter Mojze Goldman. His father was born in Lublin, and was a Polish Jew who left the country as a teenager. His mother was a German Jew, from Munich. His parents were in the French Résistance during WWII. His half-brother was left-wing intellectual Pierre Goldman, and his brother is songwriter Robert Goldman.

He is married to mathematician Nathalie Thu Hong-Lagier. He has three children with his former wife, psychologist Catherine Morlet; and three children with Nathalie. His son with Catherine, Michaël Goldman, co-founded My Major Company France, a fan-funded music label.
