Jean Wallace was an American television and film actress and model. Her roles included the films Louisiana Purchase , It Shouldn’t Happen to a Dog , Blaze of Noon , Jigsaw (1949), The Man on the Eiffel Tower , The Good Humor Man (1950), Native Son (1951), Star of India , The Big Combo , Storm Fear , The Devil’s Hairpin , Maracaibo , Lancelot and Guinevere , Beach Red , and No Blade of Grass .
She was the daughter of Mary Agnes and John Theodore Walasek. She had two children with her former husband, actor, producer, and director Franchot Tone ; and a son with her former husband, actor and director Cornel Wilde . All of her films after Native Son involved Wilde in a directing and/or starring role.
Jean’s paternal grandfather was named Karol Walasek/Walaszek.
