Jennifer Morrison is an American actress, producer, director, and model. Her roles include the series Dawson’s Creek , House , The Super Hero Squad Show , How I Met Your Mother , Once Upon a Time , This Is Us , Will Trent , and The Night Agent ; the films Intersection , Miracle on 34th Street (1994), Stir of Echoes , Urban Legends: Final Cut , 100 Women , Grind (2003), Surviving Christmas , Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), Flourish , Big Stan , Star Trek (2009), and its sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness ; Table for Three , Five , Warrior (2011), Stars in Shorts , Knife Fight , Some Girl(s) , The Darkness (2016), Sun Dogs , which she directed; Amityville: The Awakening , Assassination Nation , Back Roads , Alex & the List , Superfly (2018), The Report , Batman: Hush , All Creatures Here Below , and Bombshell (2019); and the made-for-tv movie The Murder of Princess Diana . She has also directed episodes of the shows Dr. Death , Joe Pickett , and Yellowjackets .
Her father, David, was a teacher. Jennifer is married to actor Gerardo Celasco , with whom she has a daughter.
Jennifer’s paternal grandfather was Donald Ray Morrison (the son of Chester/Cary Arthur Morrison and Gertrude L. Finch). Donald was born in Ohio. Chester was the son of Charles Wesley Morrison and Loretta “Retta” Roberts. Gertrude was the daughter of Harmon Alfred Finch and Mary A. Ferguson.
Jennifer’s paternal grandmother was Janet-Rose Cutler (the daughter of Hugh Dysart Cutler and Janet Isabel Rose). Jennifer’s grandmother Janet-Rose was born in Minnesota. Hugh was the son of Robert Bliss Cutler and Sarah Anne/Ann Dysart. Jennifer’s great-grandmother Janet was the daughter of Henry Abel Rose and Adelaide Imogene/Priest Peabody.
