Jeremy Swayman is an American professional ice hockey player. A goaltender, he plays for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL), and has also been with the U.S. national team. He played college hockey with the Maine Black Bears, and was awarded prizes as the top collegiate goaltender. He is nicknamed “Sway” and “Bulldog.”

Jeremy’s paternal grandfather was Bertram Swayman (the son of Elie/Eli Swayman/Zweiman/Zweimann and Sophie/Sophia Kallish/Kalish). Bertram was born in New York, to Russian Jewish parents. Elie was the son of David Zweimann. Sophie was the daughter of Isidore/Isidor/Isadore Kalish and Sarah Herskowitz, who were from Austria.
Jeremy’s paternal grandmother was Florence Waxman (the daughter of Harry Waxman and Lottie Weber). Florence was born in New York, to Russian Jewish parents.
