Jerome Bettis is an American professional football player. A running back, he played for the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams and the Pittsburgh Steelers, for a total of thirteen seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a player in 2015. He is nicknamed “The Bus.”
Jerome is the son of Gladys and Johnnie Bettis. He is married to Trameka, with whom he has two children, including college football player Jerome Bettis, Jr.
