Jerry Trainor is an American actor and musician. He is known for playing Crazy Steve on Drake & Josh and Spencer Shay on iCarly , both Nickelodeon sitcoms. He is part of the band Nice Enough People.
Jerry’s paternal grandfather was Eugene Joseph Trainor, Jr. (the son of Eugene Joseph Trainor, Sr. and Elizabeth Helen Mulcahey). Jerry’s grandfather Eugene was born in Rhode Island. Jerry’s great-grandfather Eugene was the son of Irish immigrants, Owen Trainor and Mary Ellen Flood. Jerry’s great-grandmother Elizabeth was also the daughter of Irish parents, William Mulcahey, from County Tipperary; and Bridget Blessington, from County Longford.
Jerry’s paternal grandmother was Virginia Louise Powers (the daughter of William Henry Powers and Mary Angela Harrington). Virginia was born in Providence, Rhode Island. William was the son of John Henry Powers and Catharine Frances Sullivan, who were born in Rhode Island, both of them to Irish immigrants. Jerry’s great-grandmother Mary was also the daughter of Irish immigrants, Michael Harrington and Mary Agnes O’Neil.
Jerry’s maternal grandfather was Leo Mathew/Matthew McNenly, Jr. (the son of Leo Mathew McNenly and Minnie Schoenick). Jerry’s grandfather Leo was born in Genesee, Michigan. Jerry’s great-grandfather Leo was the son of Mathew McNenly, who was born in Canada, to Irish immigrants; and of Mary Ann Moran, who was an Irish emigrant, from County Mayo. Jerry’s great-grandmother Minnie was the daughter of German parents, August Adam Schoenick/Schöneck and Louisa Paulina Bublitz, who were from West Prussia.
Jerry’s maternal grandmother was Eva Madelyn “Pat” Petricevic (the daughter of Pavao “Paul” Petricevic and Viktorija “Victoria” Ruzak/Ruzek). Eva was born in Saginaw, Michigan, to parents from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, who were of Croatian descent. Paul was born in Vöcklabruck Bezirk, Upper Austria, the son of Michael Petricevic and Katherine.
