Jesulín is the son of Humberto Janeiro López, born in Ubrique, Cádiz, and María del Carmen Bazán Domínguez, born in El Bosque, Cádiz. He is married to dentist, María José Campanario Torres. He has a daughter with his former partner, television personality Belén Esteban ; and two children with María.

Jesulin’s paternal grandparents were Humberto Janeiro Rubiales and Francisca López Capote. The surname Janeirois of Galician origin.
