Jey Uso is an American professional wrestler. He is known for his work in WWE. He wrestles in a tag team with his fraternal twin brother, Jimmy Uso , who is older by nine minutes. He is also known as “Main Event” Jey Uso, Josh Fatu, Joshua Fatu, and Jules Uso.

Jey is the son of Talisua Fuavai and professional wrestler Rikishi (born Solofa Fatu). His brother, Solo Sikoa (born Joseph Yokozuna Fatu), is also a professional wrestler. His grandparents all moved from American Samoa to San Francisco. He is a member of the Anoa’i wrestling family, including his uncles Sam Fatu/The Tonga Kid and Umaga (born Edward Smith Fatu); his great-uncles Afa Anoa’i and Sika Anoa’i, who wrestled as the Wild Samoans; his first cousins, once removed, Samu (born Samuel Fred Anoa’i), Yokozuna (born Rodney Agatupu Anoa’i), Black Pearl (born Reno Anoa’i), Rosey (born Matthew Tapunu’u Anoa’i), Lloyd Anoa’i, Afa Anoa’i, Jr., and Roman Reigns (born Leati Joseph Anoa’i); and his second cousin, Lance Anoa’i.

He attended high school in Pensacola, Florida. Jey is married to Takecia Travis, with whom he has two children.

Jey’s paternal grandfather was named I’aulualo Folau Solofa Fatu.

Jey’s paternal grandmother was Elevera/Elvira Amituana’i Vila Anoa’i (the daughter of Muliaiga Amituana’i Anoa’i, also known as The Rev. Anoa’i Amituana’i, and of Tovaleomanaia Florence Leoso “Tovale” Ripley). Elevera was born on Leone, Tutuila, American Samoa. The Rev. Anoa’i was born in Fagaalo, Mauputasi, American Samoa, and was a pastor in the village of Utulei before moving to San Francisco. He was the son of Amituanai Faamaile Gatiso Ifopo and Puaaelo Faagata Lolofietele. Jey’s great-grandmother Tovaleomanaia was born on Leone, Tutuila, American Samoa, the daughter of Edward Fepulea’i Leoso Ripley, aka Ned Ripley, and of Tagi’ilima Tisa “Tagi” Li’o. Tovaleomanaia was from Leone, Tutuila, American Samoa. Jey’s great-great-great-great-great-grandfather, Edward Ripley, was an American, from Boston, Massachusetts, of Colonial American (English) descent; and was a secretary to the governor of Tutuila.

Jey’s great-great-grandfather Ifopo was the adoptive father of professional wrestler Peter Maivia, who is himself the adoptive grandfather of professional wrestler and actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson .

Jey’s maternal grandfather was named Sonny Fuavai.

Jey’s maternal grandmother was named Vao.
