Jimmie Foxx was an American professional baseball player. A first baseman, he played for the Philadelphia Athletics, the Boston Red Sox, the Chicago Cubs, and the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
