Jimmie Walker is an American comedian and actor. He is known for his role as J.J. Evans on the series Good Times , and for appearing in the films Let’s Do It Again , The Concorde… Airport ’79 , and The Guyver , and on the shows The Love Boat and At Ease .
Jimmie is the son of Lorena and James Carter Walker. His parents were born in Alabama. He was raised in The Bronx.
Jimmie’s paternal grandfather was James Walker (the son of Robert Walker and Minerva Thomas). James was born in Alabama, to parents who were also born there. Robert was the son of Robert Walker and Dolly/Dollie Smith.
