Joe Keery, also known as Djo, is an American actor, singer, and musician. He is known for starring as Steve Harrington on the show Stranger Things . His roles also include the films Henry Gamble’s Birthday Party , The Charnel House , Molly’s Game , After Everything , Slice (2018), Spree , Death to 2020 , Free Guy , Death to 2021 , Finally Dawn , Marmalade , Pavements , and Cold Storage , and the series Chicago Fire , No Activity , Fargo , and The American Revolution . His songs include “End of Beginning.” He has also been known as Cool Cool Cool in his music career.
His father is an architect. His mother is a professor of English. He has roots in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, and Virginia, going back to the 1600s.
