Joe Taslim is an Indonesian actor, martial artist, and model. His roles include the films Karma (2008), Rasa (2009), as Sergeant Jaka, The Raid (2011), and its sequel, The Raid 2 ; Dead Mine , Fast & Furious 6 , La Tahzan , Star Trek Beyond , Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan , The Night Comes for Us , Hit & Run (2019), The Swordsman (2020), Mortal Kombat (2021), and The Furious (2025); and, as Li Yong, the show Warrior . He was on Indonesia’s national judo team from 1997 to 2009; he was a three-time medalist, one Silver and two Bronze, at the Southeast Asian Games, and a Gold medalist at the 2008 Pekan Olahraga Nasional.
He is the son of Maria and Mardjuki Taslim. He is of Chinese descent. Joe is married to Julia, with whom he has three children.
