He is also known as Joey Bada$$, JayOhVee, Jozif Badmon, and Joey B.
His father’s family is from Jamaica. His mother’s family is from the island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean. He was raised in Bedford–Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Joey has two children, including a son with his partner, actress, model, and singer Serayah .
