Jon Rudnitsky is an American actor and comedian. He was a featured player on the show Saturday Night Live . His roles also include the films Two-Bit Waltz , Home Again (2017), Summer Days, Summer Nights ; Set It Up , Nobody’s Fool (2018), All My Life , The Young Wife , Under the Boardwalk , Wish (2023); I Love You Forever , Stealing Pulp Fiction , Red One , and Our Little Secret ; and the series Champions , Big Hero 6: The Series , Catch-22 , The Big Leap , and Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous .
He is the son of Karen, a social worker, and Scott Rudnitsky, a businessperson. Jon’s parents are both Jewish. Jon’s uncle, his mother’s brother, is Michael Oren (born Michael Scott Bornstein), an American-born, Israeli politician; Michael was the Israeli Ambassador to the U.S., from July 20, 2009 to September 30, 2013, and represented the party Kulanu in the Knesset, from 2015 to 2019.
Jon’s paternal grandfather was Marvin M. Rudnitsky (the son of Benjamin Rudnitsky and Rose Quate). Marvin was born in Pennsylvania. Benjamin was the son of Morris Rudnitsky and Fannie.
Jon’s paternal grandmother was named Eleanor Weisman.
Jon’s maternal grandfather was Lester Milton Bornstein (the son of Harry Bornstein and Celia Ritter). Lester was born in Massachusetts, to a father from Russia and a mother from Galicia. Harry was the son of Samuel Bernstein and Mary Margolis.
