Jonako Donley is an American film producer and writer. She has co-produced the films Dear Limon Lima (2009) and The Midnight Swim (2014), often working with Sarah Adina Smith.
Her father is American writer John Donley, who is African-American, from Arkansas. Her mother is Japanese, from Sado.
Jonako’s paternal grandmother was Mae Ella Lane (the daughter of Austin Lane and Josie Taylor). Mae was born in Arkansas.
