Judith Lowry was an American actress. She was known for her roles on stage in J.B. and The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds , for the show Phyllis , and for the film Cold Turkey .
Judith was the daughter of Mildred Elizabeth “Minnie” and Major Francis Joseph Ives, a career surgeon in the U.S. Army. She was married to actor Rudd Lowry, until his death, with whom she had nine children.
Judith’s paternal grandfather was Joseph Christmas Ives (the son of Ansel Wilmot Ives and Lucia Jones). Joseph was born in New York, and was an engineer and architect during the construction of the Washington Monument. He was a first lieutenant.
