He was the son of Christine and Philippe Bianchi.
Jules’ paternal grandfather is named Mauro Bianchi (the son of Roberto Bianchi, and of a woman surnamed Vercellese). Mauro was born in Milan, Lombardy, Italy, and is a racing driver in Belgium. Mauro’s brother was Lucien Bianchi, who was also a racing driver in Belgium, racing for the Cooper, ENB, UDT Laystall, and Scuderia Centro Sud teams in Formula One. Mauro’s father was a race mechanic.
