Julie is the daughter of Marie Pillet and Albert Delpy, a theatre director. They are/were also both actors, and played her parents in the film 2 Days in Paris , with her father playing the part again in 2 Days in New York . Julie has a son with her former partner, German film score composer Marc Streitenfeld.
