Justin Gaethje is an American professional mixed martial artist. He fights in the lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). As of January 2020, he was #4 in the UFC lightweight rankings.
Justin is the son of Carolina and John Gaethje.
Justin’s paternal grandfather was John Lloyd “Johnny” Gaethje (the son of Edward Henry Gaethje and Ann May Holland). Johnny was born in Arizona. Edward was born in Illinois, of German descent, the son of Henry Christ Gaethje and Henrietta Leithner. Ann was born in Arizona, the daughter of John William Holland and Frances Pauline Salcido, who herself was born in Mexico, the daughter of Lauro Salcido Orozco and Maria de los Angeles Moreno.
