Kaycee Stroh is an American actress, singer, and dancer. Her roles include the made-for-tv movie High School Musical , and its sequels, High School Musical 2 and the theatrical High School Musical 3: Senior Year , as well as the show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series . She has also appeared on the shows The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Shapetown, USA , and in the music video for “Telephone.”
She is married to Ben Higginson, with whom she has two children.
Kaycee’s paternal grandfather was John Edward Stroyvonss/Stroh (the son of Edward Stroyvonss and Anastasia “Anna” Gorski/Gosha-Ustinchyk). Kaycee’s grandfather John was born in Zhytomyr, Ukraine. Kaycee’s great-grandfather Edward was born in Troyanov, Volynskay, Ukraine, the son of Stefan Stroyvonss and Emilia Bankowski. Kaycee’s great-grandmother Anastasia was born in Krakov, Krakowskiego, Poland, the daughter of Tyrone Gosha-Ustinchyk and Katrina.
Kaycee’s paternal grandmother was Opal Yvonne Cummins (the daughter of Joseph Ernest Cummins and Leola/Leota Horne). Opal was born in Salt Lake, Utah. Joseph was born in Eastbourne, Sussex, England, the son of George Richard Cummins and Edith Elizabeth Ann Watts. Kaycee’s great-grandmother Leola was the daughter of Joseph Leo Horne, whose paternal grandparents were English; and of Flora Diana Bean, whose maternal grandmother was Scottish.
Kaycee’s maternal grandfather was Leland Paul Herrick (the son of Nelson Leland Herrick and Emma Rosetta Tucker). Leland was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nelson was the son of Nelson Amos Herrick, whose mother was Welsh; and of Rachel/Rachael Lucinda Browning. Kaycee’s great-grandmother Emma was the daughter of George Tucker and Maren “Mary” Madsen, who was a Danish emigrant, from Karleby, Musse, Maribo.
Kaycee’s maternal grandmother was Julie Ann/Anne Pyper (the daughter of Edward Gerald Pyper and Louise Ann Paxman). Julie was born in Nephi, Utah. Edward was the son of Robert Gardner Pyper, whose parents were Scottish; and of Martha Ann Jones, whose father was Welsh, and whose mother was English. Kaycee’s great-grandmother Louise was the daughter of James Walter Paxman and Julia Sudbury, who were born in Utah, both of them to English parents.
