Kaytranada is a Canadian-Haitian DJ, music producer, rapper, and singer. He won two Grammy Awards for his second studio album “Bubba.” He is a member of hip hop duo The Celestics, with his younger brother, music producer and rapper Lou Phelps (Louis-Philipe Celestin). He is also known as KAYTRA and Kaytradamus.
He was born in Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti, and was raised in Saint-Hubert, near Montréal, in Québec, Canada. His father was a taxi driver and an estate agent. His mother worked in healthcare.
