Ken Strong was an American professional football player. A halfback and fullback, he played for the Staten Island Stapletons, the New York Giants, the New York Yankees, and the Jersey City Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He was also assistant coach for NYU, head coach for the Jersey City Giants, and kicking coach for the New York Giants. He also played Minor League Baseball.
Ken was the son of Christine and Elmer Strong, who was an egg and dairy inspector. His maternal grandparents were Swedish. Ken was married to Mabel Anderson, with whom he had a son.
Ken’s maternal grandfather was named Nils Johan Nilson.
Ken’s maternal grandmother was named Bretta Olsdotter.
