Kenneth Cranham is a Scottish actor. His roles include the films Oliver! (1968), Up Pompeii , Chocolat (1988), Hellbound: Hellraiser II , Layer Cake , Gangster No. 1 , Hot Fuzz , Maleficent , and Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool , television’s Budgie , Boon (1989), Minder (1993), Rome (2005), Merlin (2008), Death in Paradise , War & Peace (2016), and The White Princess ; and many stage performances.

His father, Ronald Cranham, was English, and his mother, Margaret McKay (Ferguson), was Scottish. He is married to actress Fiona Victory. He has a daughter with his former partner, actress Charlotte Cornwell; and a daughter with Fiona.
