Kevin De Bruyne is a Belgian professional footballer. A midfielder, he plays for Napoli, and plays for and captains the Belgium national team. He was previously with Genk, Chelsea, Werder Bremen, VfL Wolfsburg, and Manchester City. His signing by Manchester City in 2015 for a reported club-record fee of £55 million, was the second most expensive transfer in British football history.
Kevin’s mother was born in Burundi, Africa, because her father worked for an oil company. She has also lived in the Ivory Coast. Kevin can speak fluent Dutch, French, and English. He is married to Michèle Lacroix, with whom he has three children.
