Kevin-Prince Boateng is a German professional footballer. A midfielder and forward, he played for Hertha BSC II, Hertha BSC, Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund, Portsmouth, Genoa, Milan, Schalke, Las Palmas, Eintracht Frankfurt, Sassuolo, Barcelona, Fiorentina, Beşiktaş, and Monza, and Germany national youth teams and the Ghana national team. He coaches Socca Australia. He is nicknamed “Prince.”
Kevin-Prince was born in Berlin, West Germany, now Germany, to a Ghanaian father, Prince Boateng, and a German mother, Christine Rahn. His paternal half-brother is footballer Jérôme Boateng . His uncle, Yaw Boateng Gyan, was the National Organizer of the NDC (National Democratic Congress) in Ghana. Kevin-Prince’s maternal grandfather was a first cousin of professional footballer Helmut Rahn. He speaks Turkish, German, English, and Italian.
Kevin-Prince has a son with his former wife Jenny; and a son with his former wife, Italian actress and television personality Melissa Satta .
