He is the son of Lorna and Andrew Ellsworth. Kiko is usually cited as having African-American and Native American ancestry from his mother, and Israeli, French, and Creole ancestry on his father’s side. He is married to actress Christine Carlo.
Kiko’s paternal grandfather was Andrew James Ellsworth (the son of Henry J. Ellsworth and Carrie S. Honore). Carrie was the daughter of Peter Honore and Susan M. Purrel.
Kiko’s paternal grandmother was Shirley Agatha Bloom (the daughter of Joseph A. Bloom and Dorothy Thomas). Joseph was the son of Joseph Bloom and Hannah/Hanna, who was black. Dorothy was the daughter of William Thomas, who was Irish, and of Sylvia, who was black.
