Killer Mike is an American rapper, singer, actor, and social and political activist. He was a featured artist on the songs “The Whole World” and “Never Scared,” and is a member of rap duo Run the Jewels, with El-P. His acting roles include the films ATL , Idlewild , Baby Driver , and, in voice performance, America: The Motion Picture . He co-developed, and presented, the series Trigger Warning with Killer Mike , and has hosted PBS’ interview show Love & Respect . His activism, which includes his music, as well as lectures and articles, focuses on inequality, police misconduct, and racism. He was part of musical collective Dungeon Family. Outkast ( André 3000 , Big Boi ), Future , CeeLo Green , Janelle Monáe , TLC ( Lisa Lopes , Rozonda Thomas /Chilli, and Tionne Watkins ), and Rico Wade were also members of Dungeon Family. He is also known as Mike Bigga and Jerome Jewel.

He is the son of a florist mother and a policeman father, and was partly raised by his grandparents in Collier Heights, Atlanta. Killer Mike is married to Shana, with whom he has four children.
