Kim Seok-jin, also known as Jin, is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He is a member of boy band BTS, who are also known as Bangtan Boys, Bangtan Sonyeondan, Beyond the Scene, and Bulletproof Boy Scouts. The other members of BTS are J-Hope , Jimin , Jung Kook , RM , Suga , and V . His first song as a solo artist is “The Astronaut.” He has hosted music programs Inkigayo , along with RM; M Countdown , with Jimin and J-Hope; and Music Bank .
He opened Ossu Seiromushi, a Japanese-style restaurant, in Seoul, with his brother. Jin is of the Gwangsan Kim clan.
