Kimiko Glenn is an American actress, singer, and Broadway performer. Her roles include the films Nerve (2016), Can You Keep a Secret? , and, in voice over, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse , as Peni Parker; Over the Moon , and My Little Pony: A New Generation , and television’s Orange Is the New Black , The Guest Book , Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas , and in voice over, DuckTales , Voltron: Legendary Defender , Summer Camp Island , Baby Shark’s Big Show! , Centaurworld , and Kiff .

She is the daughter of Sumiko and Mark. In an interview, she stated :

I’m… more German than Scottish. I’m half-Japanese, 25 percent German, 12 percent Scottish, and 12 percent Irish.

Kimiko’s patrilineal line can be traced to James Anderson Glenn, who was born, c. 1664, in Accomack Parish, Accomack, Virginia.

Kimiko’s paternal grandfather was Robert Gordon Glenn (the son of Harry G. Glenn and Margaret J. Simon). Robert was born in Ohio, with grandparents who were all from Kentucky. Harry was the son of George Lytle Glenn and Ada B. Wilson. Margaret was the daughter of James Garfield Simon, whose parents were from Alsace, France; and of Julia M. Hoffman.

Kimiko’s paternal grandmother was Helen Mary Huber (the daughter of Irvin/Irwin Joseph Huber and Mildred McGrath). Helen was born in Ohio. Irvin was born in Ohio, the son of John Huber and Catherine Dotzauer, who were of German descent. Mildred was born in Ohio, the daughter of Irish parents, Thomas McGrath and Mary White.
