Kris Bryant is an American professional baseball player. A third baseman, outfielder, and designated hitter, he plays for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was previously with the Chicago Cubs and the San Francisco Giants. He is nicknamed “KB.”
Kris is the son of Sue and Michael Bryant. His father played minor league baseball for the Boston Red Sox. He is married to Jessica Delp, with whom he has three children.
Kris’s maternal grandfather is Jack Braidman (the son of Daniel Braidman and Gertrude Lessnow). Daniel was born in England, the son of Russian Jewish parents, Solomon Braidman and Jennie Laskin. Gertrude was born in Illinois, the daughter of German parents, August F. Lessnow and Emilia/Emily Elizabeth Doedge/Dodge.
Kris’s maternal grandmother is Donna McNish (the daughter of John D. McNish and Alice Mason).
