His father, Gary Drum, is an American musician. His mother, Catherine Andrews, was British, and was an artist and musician. His sister is actress and real estate entrepreneur Celeste Fianna . Regarding his ethnic background, he has said :

Kristos’ paternal grandfather was Edward Turnbach Drum (the son of Ray Turnbach Drum and Mary Gertrude Widitz). Edward was born in Weston, Pennsylvania. Ray was born in Ebervale, Pennsylvania, the son of Milton Drum and Mary Jane Turnbach, and had German [including Alsatian] and some Swiss-German ancestry. Kristos’ great-grandmother Mary was born in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, to parents from Austria, Joseph Widitz and Theresa Langus, with Joseph being from Fohnsdorf.
Kristos’ paternal grandmother was Helen Ernestine Gombeda (the daughter of Andrew Gombeda and Anna Sotak). Helen was born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, to parents from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, now Slovakia. Anna was the daughter of George Sotak/Szoták and Anna Koscelnik, who were from Velykyi Bereznyi, modern-day Ukraine, and were possibly Rusyn.
