She is known as the “Princess of Pop.”
Kylie is the daughter of Carol Ann (Jones), a ballet dancer, and Ronald Charles Minogue, a car company accountant. Her father is a fifth-generation Australian, and has Irish ancestry. Her mother came from Maesteg, Wales, and also has English ancestry. Her sister is musician and television personality Dannii Minogue . Kylie was partly raised in Surrey Hills, Victoria. She is also a U.K. citizen.
Kylie’s maternal grandfather was Denis Evan Jones (the son of Robert E. Jones and Harriet Parry). Robert was the son of William E. Jones.
Kylie’s maternal grandmother was Millicent Riddiford (the daughter of George Morgan Riddiford and Margaret Megan Hughes). Millicent was born in Llangynwyd, Bridgend, Wales. George was the son of Morgan James Riddiford and Mary.
